A MEDIA EDUCATION RESOURCE FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE CLASSROOM.

Ideal for use in Language Arts, Social Studies, and anti-racism programs.

Learn about the incidence of hate on the Web, the motives and tactics of its perpetrators and the approaches teachers can take to ensure that young people are able to recognize and deconstruct bias, prejudice, hate and propaganda – online and off.

  • 5 lesson plans for Grades 8-12, with discussion guides, activities and student handouts

  • an interactive module with Teacher’s Guide, for Grades 7 and 8, in which students play the part of agents, on a mission from planet Earth to assess the varying degrees of prejudice and misinformation on the “Galactic Web.”
