Sponsorship Categories

Gold Sponsors

The most prestigious sponsors of the Media Awareness Network, our Gold Sponsors are leading supporters of media education in Canada. Their $50,000 annual contributions constitute a substantial commitment to the cause of helping young people to become media-literate.

Silver Sponsors

MNet’s Silver Sponsors support us with $25,000 a year. These invaluable contributions help us to build our media education programs, designed to help young people to develop media literacy skills.

Bronze Sponsors

Through their annual $10,000 contributions, sponsors in our Bronze Category provide important financial support for MNet’s media literacy initiatives.

Associate Sponsors

Associate Sponsors contribute $5,000 annually to assist MNet in producing high quality programs that respond to the growing demands on Canada’s youth for media education.

Founding Sponsors

These leading Canadian companies took the leap of faith with us in the early days, and provided essential start-up financing for MNet.

Benefactors

Funding received through the Benefactor category is approved by Canada’s federal broadcasting regulator, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), as part of the "Social Benefits" commitments made in applications for its approval of major broadcasting transactions. The terms, conditions and level of a particular contribution are set out in the CRTC’s decision. We appreciate the contributions of our benefactors, and the CRTC’s vote of confidence.

Research and Development Partners

Through their funding and assistance, our R&D partners make major contributions to our national research program, and to the delivery of our educational resources.
