Alberta Outcome Chart: Social Studies - Grade 9

This outcome chart contains Media literacy learning expectations from the Alberta social studies curriculum, with links to supporting resources on the Media Awareness Network site.

Citizenship

It is expected that students will:

  • demonstrate willingness to exercise their roles, responsibilities, and rights as Canadian citizens 
  • support fairness, justice, and equality in their decisions and actions
  • assess diverse ways in which individuals may participate in political and social action in Canada
