OUTCOME CHART 



British Columbia Outcome Chart: English Language Arts Grade 8

This outcome chart contains media-related learning outcomes from the British Columbia, Grade 8 English Language Arts curriculum, with links to supporting resources on the Media Awareness Network site.

It is expected that students will:

Reading and Viewing

Purposes (Reading and Viewing)

  • view, both collaboratively and independently, to comprehend a variety of visual texts, such as

    –         broadcast media
    –         web sites
    –        
    graphic novels
    –         film and video
    –         photographs
    –         art
    -         visual components of print media
