• Contact your province or territory’s Film Classification Board. Films for theatrical release are rated according to classification systems designed by each province.
  

To comment on the content or rating of a home video:

• Address your concerns to the Canadian Motion Picture Distributors Association (CMPDA), the industry association that developed the Canadian Rating System for Home Videos. A rating from the CMPDA appears on the jackets of all new rental videos in Canada (except Quebec).
• You can also contact your provincial or territorial Film Classification Board – which in some cases assign ratings to videos as well as theatrical-release films.

To voice a concern about movie advertising on Canadian TV or radio

• Contact the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, using the complaint form on its Web site.
• Contact Advertising Standards Canada, using the complaint form on its Web site.
